This policy covers the Red Dirt Software website at reddirtsoftware.dev. Our apps have their own policies; for Benchtime, see the Benchtime privacy policy.

No tracking

This site uses no analytics, no advertising or tracking cookies, and no third-party trackers. We don't build visitor profiles and we don't sell or share personal information.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

The quote form

What we collect

Only what you type into the form: your name, email address, company (optional), what you need, budget and timeline (both optional), and your message.

How it's handled

  • When you press Send, the form is checked by our server and sent to our inbox as an email through Resend, our email delivery provider. The email's reply address is yours, so we can answer you directly.
  • This website doesn't keep a copy in a database, and our server doesn't write what you sent to its logs.
  • To keep out spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile. It loads only on the Work with us page and checks signals from your browser to tell people from bots. It doesn't use advertising cookies.

How we use it

Only to reply to you and to discuss, quote and carry out the work you asked about. We don't add you to a mailing list.

How long we keep it

Quote emails stay in our business email for as long as we need them to talk with you and to keep ordinary business records. Ask us and we'll delete them, unless we have to keep something for legal or accounting reasons.

Videos

The Benchtime video on our Apps page loads nothing from YouTube until you press play. It then plays from youtube-nocookie.com, and Google's privacy policy applies to that video.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we'll take care of it.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
